When Cornwall nights turn damp and cold, many homes and holiday cottages off the mains rely on bottled propane for reliable heat. Gas Shack in Padstow supplies the sizes Cornwall households use most — ready for collection or delivery.
Planning ahead for autumn and winter means fewer emergency runs and warmer guests when storms roll in off the north coast.
Propane sizes that suit Cornwall cottages
A mid-size 13kg Propane Gas Bottle covers many portable heaters and smaller properties. Longer run times call for the 19kg Propane Gas Bottle, while larger homes and commercial sites often choose the 47kg Propane Gas Bottle. Always match the bottle to your heater’s regulator and manufacturer guidance.
Keep a backup bottle ready
Rural Cornwall roads and busy changeover weekends make a spare essential. Stock a backup from our backup gas bottles range so heating never fails mid-week. The compact 6kg Propane Gas Bottle is useful for smaller heaters or as a travel spare.
