Please read these terms carefully before placing an order with Gas Shack. By placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.

The contract

When you place an order through our website you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion, including where we cannot verify a delivery address, where stock is unavailable, or where we have reason to believe the customer is under 18.

Age restriction

You must be 18 or over to purchase LPG gas cylinders. By placing an order you confirm you are aged 18 or over. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the person accepting delivery appears to be under 18. This is a legal requirement under the Gas (Amendment) Act.

Prices and payment

All prices shown on our website include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is confirmed. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards through Shopify Payments. We do not store payment card details.

Delivery

Free local delivery is available to addresses within our delivery area across North Cornwall. Delivery timescales are estimated and not guaranteed. All deliveries are made by our own qualified team — we do not use third-party couriers for gas cylinders. You are responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery arrangements. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Cylinder exchange

Exchange cylinders are supplied on the basis that you return an equivalent empty Calor cylinder in acceptable condition at the time of delivery or collection. We reserve the right to refuse exchange cylinders that are damaged, expired, heavily corroded or not of Calor brand. Cylinder deposits remain the property of Calor Gas Ltd.

Hazardous goods

LPG gas cylinders are classified as hazardous goods. You are responsible for storing and using all cylinders safely and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety regulations. Gas Shack accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage resulting from unsafe storage, handling or use of cylinders by the customer.

Please see our Refund and Returns Policy for full details. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gas Shack's liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our products shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version applies to all orders placed after the date shown above.
