What is a Gas Shack trade account
A Gas Shack trade account is a commercial supply arrangement for businesses that require a regular ongoing supply of LPG gas. Trade accounts are available to restaurants, cafes, pubs, holiday parks, caravan parks, glamping sites, campsites, catering van operators, hotels and any other business with a legitimate commercial requirement for regular LPG supply.
Eligibility
Trade accounts are available to UK-registered businesses only. We reserve the right to request proof of business registration, a valid business address, and trade references before opening an account. We reserve the right to decline a trade account application without providing a reason.
Pricing
Trade account pricing is agreed individually based on your estimated monthly volume, product mix and delivery requirements. Prices are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted with reasonable notice. Trade pricing is confidential between Gas Shack and the account holder and must not be shared with third parties.
Payment terms
Standard trade account payment terms are 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is accepted by BACS bank transfer or direct debit. Invoices are issued on delivery or at agreed billing intervals. Accounts in arrears beyond 30 days may have supply suspended until the outstanding balance is cleared. We reserve the right to charge statutory interest on overdue accounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Delivery
Delivery schedules are agreed as part of the trade account setup. We will use reasonable endeavours to meet agreed delivery slots but cannot guarantee delivery times. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to your premises and appropriate storage facilities for LPG cylinders. Emergency deliveries outside the agreed schedule are available at our discretion and may be subject to an additional charge.
Cylinder exchange on trade accounts
Trade accounts operate the Calor cylinder exchange scheme. Empty cylinders must be available for collection on each delivery. If empties are not available for collection on a delivery visit the full new cylinder price will be charged. A running count of cylinders on site will be agreed and monitored as part of the trade account arrangement.
Minimum orders
Minimum order quantities may be agreed as part of your trade account terms. Orders below the agreed minimum may be fulfilled at the standard retail price rather than the trade price.
Termination
Either party may terminate a trade account arrangement with 30 days written notice. Gas Shack reserves the right to terminate a trade account immediately for non-payment, breach of these terms, or behaviour that poses a safety risk. On termination all outstanding invoices become immediately payable.
Liability
Gas Shack's liability to trade account customers is limited to the value of the relevant delivery giving rise to any claim. We are not liable for business interruption, loss of revenue or any indirect or consequential losses arising from delayed or cancelled deliveries.
Variations
These terms may be varied by written agreement between Gas Shack and the trade account holder. Verbal agreements do not vary these terms.
