Free local delivery

Gas Shack offer free local delivery of LPG gas bottles across the Padstow and North Cornwall area. Our regular delivery area includes Padstow, Wadebridge, Rock, Newquay, Bodmin, Port Isaac, St Merryn, Camelford, Bude, Tintagel, Perranporth, St Columb Major, Launceston and surrounding villages and rural addresses. There is no minimum order and no delivery charge within our free delivery area.

Why we deliver ourselves

LPG gas cylinders are classified as hazardous goods under ADR (the Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road). They cannot be delivered by standard couriers such as Royal Mail, DHL, Hermes or similar services. All Gas Shack deliveries are made by our own qualified gas engineers using our own vehicles. This ensures every cylinder is handled correctly and safely from our depot to your door.

Delivery timescales

For most addresses within our delivery area we aim to deliver within one to two working days of your order being placed. During peak season — particularly July and August — we recommend placing your order at least two working days ahead to secure your preferred delivery slot. We will contact you to confirm your delivery date and time window after your order is placed.

Same-day delivery

Same-day delivery may be available for urgent requirements within the Padstow area. Please call us directly on 01841 532390 to check availability — same-day delivery cannot be guaranteed through the online ordering system.

Delivery outside our free area

If your address falls outside our regular delivery area please call us on 01841 532390 before ordering. We will always try to accommodate deliveries to nearby areas where possible. A delivery charge may apply for addresses significantly outside our standard area.

What happens on delivery

Our delivery team will bring your cylinder to your door, connect it to your gas system where appropriate, and carry out a basic safety check on the connection. We will collect your empty cylinder on the same visit if you have selected an exchange order. Please ensure there is safe and clear access to your gas storage area on your delivery date.

Missed deliveries

If you are not home at the time of delivery our team will attempt to contact you by phone. We will not leave gas cylinders unattended without your prior agreement. A redelivery will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.

Click and collect — Padstow depot

You can reserve your gas online and collect from our depot at Unit 6a, Trecerus Industrial Estate, Padstow, PL28 8RW. Collection is available during our opening hours and is often available the same day you reserve. Please bring your empty cylinder if you are collecting an exchange. In and out in minutes — your order will be ready and waiting.
