Gas Shack is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. We want everyone who needs to buy gas or find information on our site to be able to do so regardless of disability, assistive technology or browsing circumstances.
What we are doing
Our website is built on the Shopify platform which maintains a strong commitment to accessibility standards. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across our site. We use clear, readable fonts and sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds. All images include descriptive alternative text. Our site can be navigated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse. Our pages are structured with clear headings to aid screen reader navigation. Forms include clearly labelled fields.
Known limitations
We are aware that some areas of our site may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to identify and address these issues. Known areas we are reviewing include some older product images that may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text, and some embedded content from third-party tools where accessibility is outside our direct control.
