When you place an order or register on our site we collect your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number, and payment information. Payment card data is processed by Shopify Payments and is never stored on our own systems. When you browse our site we collect anonymised analytics data including pages visited, time on site and general location — this is processed by Google Analytics. If you contact us by email or phone we may retain a record of that communication.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to process and fulfil your orders, arrange delivery or collection, send order confirmation and delivery notifications, respond to your enquiries, and improve our website and services. We will only send you marketing communications if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Who we share your data with
We share your data with Shopify Inc as our e-commerce platform provider — they process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We use Google Analytics to understand how our site is used — this data is anonymised and aggregated. We may share your delivery address with our own delivery team members but do not use third-party couriers for gas deliveries. We will disclose data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law.
How long we keep your data
We retain order data for seven years for accounting and legal purposes. Contact enquiry records are kept for two years. Analytics data is retained for 26 months. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
