Starting MIG welding in a Cornwall garage or small workshop is simpler when you can collect rent-free style cylinders locally. Hobbyweld mixes cover everyday mild steel work without a long-term cylinder contract.
Gas Shack stocks Hobbyweld and related welding gases from Padstow for DIY and trade welders.

Which mix to start with
Most beginners start on Hobbyweld 5 for general MIG on thinner steel. Heavier fabrication often moves to Hobbyweld 15. Add Argon when you need TIG or aluminium work, and keep Oxygen if you also cut with oxy-fuel.

Tell us your welder and material via contact, then browse cylinders alongside LPG gas bottles.
