Holiday lets and milder-month heating often run on butane — especially indoor appliances rated for it. Gas Shack stocks live butane bottles for Cornwall hosts who need reliable changeover stock without guesswork.
If your cottage heater or cooker specifies butane, match the size to guest demand and keep a labelled spare ready for Friday arrivals.
Butane sizes we keep in stock
Hosts commonly choose the 7kg Butane Gas Bottle for lighter use and the 15kg Butane Gas Bottle for longer stays. Smaller setups may suit the 4.5kg Butane Gas Bottle. Always confirm the appliance plate and regulator before ordering — butane is not a drop-in swap for every propane heater, especially outdoors in cold weather.
Holiday let tips for North Cornwall
- Label bottles by property and note fill date after exchange.
- Store spares upright outdoors in a ventilated area.
- Offer clear guest instructions and a Gas Shack reorder link for caretakers.
