Regulator and Equipment Compatibility

A compatible shielding-gas regulator is required. Hobbyweld 5 Original and Plus cylinders use a 5/8″ BSP right-hand female connection, while the Ultra cylinder uses an EN 561 quick-action outlet.

Check the required regulator connection and maximum inlet-pressure rating before ordering. Never force an incompatible regulator onto a cylinder or use an unsuitable adaptor. A flowmeter may also be required to set the shielding-gas flow correctly for the welding conditions.
